You will work as part of a distributed, global team supported by other SRE and Enterprise Engineering teams, and our technology partners to help us collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals.A day in the life of a Project CoordinatorAs a Digital Project Coordinator within the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you will serve as a liaison between SRE and Digital Support, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration between both teams. Your primary focus will be to facilitate conversations, manage vendors, and support the Program Manager, Scrum Master, and Lead Engineer in their day-to-day activities.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in various aspects of project management, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and successfully.You will participate in your teams continuous planning process, recommending projects and tasks that improve developer experience, efficiency and reliability. You will become an expert in the enterprise toolset that your team uses and supports and help other engineers become experts themselves. You will measure the signals that identify the effectiveness of your team’s efforts and report on them. You will work with other teams to get agreement on standards and practices for the areas you support.
You will participate in and help lead your team’s scrum process and workflow, helping the scrum master refine the backlog, write stories, unblock the team and ensure that obligations are met.Project CoordinationWork closely with the SRE team, Digital Support, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities, ensuring all parties are aligned with goals, timelines, and deliverables.Team FacilitationAct as a bridge between the SRE team and Digital Support, organizing regular meetings, and facilitating effective communication to foster collaboration.Vendor ManagementCollaborate with vendors and third-party service providers, coordinating contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with SLAs to meet project requirements.Project PlanningAssist in project planning activities, including creating project timelines, defining milestones, and allocating resources effectively.Risk ManagementIdentify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and work with the teams to develop mitigation plans to address them.Documentation ManagementMaintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project status updates, to ensure clarity and transparency.Supporting Project TeamProvide administrative and logistical support to the Program Manager, Scrum Master, Lead Engineer, and Tech Manager, assisting them in organizing tasks and tracking progress.Project ReportingPrepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, achievements, milestones, and potential roadblocks.Continuous ImprovementActively participate in post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future projects.QualificationsCompleted Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
