- Manage a team of design engineers producing production documentation
- Work with engineers to produce high quality mechanical designs
- Ensure on-time release of documentation and BOMs for products and projects
- Review designs for accuracy and adherence to internal and industry standards
- Serve as design engineering point of contact to project management, systems engineering, production, test engineering, and others as needed
- Assist in identifying gaps in processes and training needs; help implement solutions
- Manage design team’s project schedules and prioritize tasks when conflicts arise
