Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Dentist (DDS/DMD) to provide high-quality dental care in an onsite clinical setting in West Lafayette, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in general dentistry, particularly in treating geriatric patients, while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive services.
• Evaluate and treat oral health conditions in geriatric patients with a focus on age-related dental needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Adhere to CDC and OSHA infection prevention protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hand hygiene, sterilization procedures, and disposal of single-use materials.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, ISDH, and VA regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current, unrestricted Indiana Dental License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing General Dentistry.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing dental care to geriatric patients and managing age-related oral health conditions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience following CDC and OSHA infection control standards, including PPE usage, hand hygiene, sterilization, and proper disposal of single-use items.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in compliance with HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, ISDH, and VA regulatory requirements.
