Delivery Driver
Job Description
Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, delivering products by car, and navigating adverse terrain. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Training and orientation provided on the job.
Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, and exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts are also part of the job.
Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
The position requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, and reaching.
