You can make a difference by providing care and support to the individuals we serve in our community-based Day Program.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide assistance in the daily care of health-impaired older adults or individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral disabilities, or mental health diagnosesAssist with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programsSupport the care, safety, security, and social/recreational activities of individuals receiving servicesAssist individuals with daily living needs, including personal hygiene, bathing, bathroom assistance, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administrationProvide guidance with social skills, advocacy, and self-esteem while teaching strategies to promote greater independenceTransport individuals to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and activities in the communityQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years oldMinimum one year of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably with older adultsPhysical exam within the past 12 months and annual TB testProficient in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and independent ADLsStrong attention to detail and effective communication skills to manage relationshipsReliable, responsible attitude and compassionate approachWhy Join Us?401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payRewarding work that impacts the lives of those you serve while working alongside a great team of coworkersEnjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunitiesEmployee Referral Program bonus opportunities for eligible rolesWe have meaningful work that enhances lives — come join our team!Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
