Data Center Site Lead

Location: Manassas, VA

Employment type: 12+ month contract

Pay rate: $50.00-$60.00/hour, the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

The Site Lead plays a critical role ensuring deployments, refreshes, infrastructure expansion projects, and day-to-day operations are executed efficiently while maintaining alignment with our clients standards and business objectives. This role has significant interaction with leadership, customers, operations teams, and project stakeholders.

Monday-Friday Day Shift

Block A

Sunday-Wednesday 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM EST

Block B

Wednesday-Saturday 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM EST

Position Summary

The Site Lead serves as the operational leader responsible for workload coordination, project execution, customer communication, shift management, staffing coordination, and overall operational success.

This is more project and operations focused than a hands-on engineering role.

Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

• Coordinate daily site activities.
• Manage priorities across technicians and teams.
• Monitor workload distribution.
• Ensure shift execution and operational readiness.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate deployment and refresh projects.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Support change management and escalation activities.
• Drive site readiness and project execution.

Customer Engagement

• Serve as primary liaison between NVIDIA and onsite teams.
• Communicate operational updates.
• Escalate risks and mitigation plans.
• Support leadership reporting.

Team Management

• Assist with onboarding and training.
• Monitor quality, safety, attendance, and execution.
• Coordinate communication between Block A and Block B shifts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of data center experience.
• Previous leadership, operations, or project coordination experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in highly visible environments.

Preferred

• AI infrastructure experience.
• Hyperscale experience.
• Data center buildout experience.
• Program or project management experience.
