Database Management Specialist – Level IIIn-depth knowledge of and a minimum of 5 years hands-on Linux and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience approx. 60 serversExperience with PKI Infrastructures, server certificates, Certificate Authority, Secure DNS (DNS SEC), systemd and daemonDevelops strategies to manage the frequency of appropriate support package/patch applicationMonitors system maintenance and provides appropriate recommendations, when requiredExperience installing Certificates, security, systems patches, and application configuration changesAble to install and maintain the Linux Server operating system and various Linux applications and services such as Apache, TomCat, Kerberos, LDAP, Active Directory Puppet, Satellite Server, Bind, and Postfix, Bash, Python scriptingKnowledge of JIRA, Jenkins, Docker, and GITThorough understanding and workings of Server protocols including, NTP, SMTP, SFTP, and email routingResearches current systems technology and serves as subject matter expert on complex systems processes and proceduresThorough understanding and workings of incident handling protocols, PII, Server network procedures, and classified information handlingAnsible, Chef and similar toolsExperience with Windows Enterprise Servers and Active DirectoryAssist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex solutions.Coordinate activities with other technical personnel as appropriate and develop and analyze highly complex system standards, thresholds, and recommendations to maximize system performance.Develop strategies to manage the frequency of appropriate support package/patch applicationMonitor system maintenance and provides appropriate recommendations, when requiredResearch current systems technology and serves as subject matter expert on complex systems processes and proceduresWillingness work onsite with client employees
