Data Processor, OperationsDivision: Fiscal AffairsEvaluation Group: StaffFLSA Status: Non-ExemptReports To: Assistant Vice President, Procurement and OperationsPositions Supervised: n/aJob SummaryThe data entry processor is responsible for processing all financial transactions on behalf of all departments within Campus Operations as well as providing administrative support to Directors, the Assistant Vice President, Associate Vice President, and Senior Vice President. This position will also manage and support minor requisitions for the campus.Essential Job Functions and Performance IndicatorsThe intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibility that will be required of positions given this title. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Job Responsibilities and ExecutionProcesses departmental expense reports which include compiling purchases, attaching receipts, and assigning expenditures to the applicable cost center within Campus Operations.Manages petty cash fundProcesses requisitions, supplier contracts, new supplier requests, supplier invoice requests, and requests for invoices for all departments within Campus OperationsMaintains and updates the status of all open financial transactionsSupports procurement-related activities by coordinating and processing university beverage and catering ordersReviews and processes University purchase requisitions of $1,000 or lessService ExcellenceSupports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellenceModels, supports, and holds others accountable to the University's valuesProvides timely customer support for daily operations inquiriesCommunication, Teamwork and CollaborationServes as the initial contact for all guests of Campus OperationsCommunicates and coordinates with Directors on administrative tasks and financial transactionsCommunicates with University stakeholders on matters regarding minor purchasesJob may require other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.Bachelor's degreeOne (1) to three (3) years of administrative support, data entry, accounts payable, procurement, or related office experienceExperience with Workday Finance, preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities – May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse communities and culturesStrong diligence, attention to detail, and critical thinkingMicrosoft Office Suite and database systems experienceHighly organized and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneouslyEffective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communicationWork Environment – Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job's functions.
