Data Center Facilities Technician

Dublin, Ohio (onsite)

09 Months contract with potential for extension or conversion

NOTES:

• Four to Eight weeks of shadowing and hands-on training.
• The schedule is Monday through Friday during training, followed by a rotating front-half or back-half schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain and support diesel generators and related equipment.
• Operate or work around heavy machinery and powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
• Work safely around elevated areas, fall hazards, hazardous materials, chemicals, and high-voltage equipment.
• Support facility operations in environments involving repetitive physical tasks, extreme temperatures, airborne particulates, or elevated noise levels.
• Work around autonomous robots and automated guided vehicles.
• Demonstrate project ownership and a self-starter mentality.

Required Qualifications

• One to two years of relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Diesel generator experience.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in mechanical or electrical studies.
• U.S. government Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center experience.
