Data & Analytics Data Operations LeadMandatory skills: Data operations, Matillion and/or Snowflake, SQL, Agile Software Development methodologiesThe Data & Analytics Data Operations lead will perform the following:Act as primary point of contact for D&A Operations, working with business users, data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, business analytics, product managers, the data governance COE, SRE and various IT partnersSocialize the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Data & Analytics (D&A) across the enterpriseImplement the SOP in iterations as new Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are established for the critical datasets and reports sourced from Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)Establish the support model process flow with accountable D&A counterparts to ensure the L1, L2, L3 model has designated resources from each team, and the process and procedures are understood by all team membersManage the on-call rotation accounting for holidays, on/offshore PTO in adherence to enterprise policies and proceduresCreate requirements for operational reporting to include:Daily load status (Green/Yellow/Red) with "as of" data load datetime for each critical data assetData quality checks (Counts, Key validation, job completion times, etc.)Dashboard for trends/patterns over timeMetrics for changes, incidents, problems and requests.How will you make an impact: Build out a modern operational support team that can scale while continuously improvingPartner with D&A Data Engineering team to operationalize the reconciliation framework and provide daily status reportsCollaborate with data architects to understand data structures and concepts including conceptual, logical, and dimensional models and provide feedbackPerforms data analysis and triage required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issuesSupport and collaborate with other IT teamsMaintains knowledge, ensures competency and compliance with policies and procedures, to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teamsThis list is not all-inclusive, and you are expected to perform other duties as requested or assigned.What we look for: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.3+ years of data experience preferably in data operations3+ years of experience in Matillion and/or SnowflakeExperience in data profiling, data analysis and building Data Quality metricsExpertise in SQLKnowledge of best practices and IT operations (L1, L2, L3 support) and in an always-up, always-available serviceExperience with disaster recovery drills and documentationExperience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologiesExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsProcess oriented with great documentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
