What You'll Do

• Assist in a high-volume CVOR, supporting cardiac and vascular surgery teams
• Prepare operating rooms and sterile equipment for scheduled cases
• Support surgeons during complex procedures such as CABG, TAVR, aneurysm repair, and endovascular interventions
• Ensure proper documentation and sterile techniques are maintained
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup as needed
• Support post-operative procedures and patient transfer processes

What You Need

• Required:
  • Certified Surgical Tech (NBSTSA or NCCT)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in CVOR or related surgical environment
• Preferred:
  • Cardiac and vascular case experience
  • Experience with advanced surgical procedures such as VAD, ECMO, TAVR, TEVAR
  • Ability to work flexible shift hours, including weekends and holidays

About the Assignment This assignment places you in a busy, accredited hospital with 672 beds in Minneapolis. The facility is known for its magnet designation, teaching programs, and trauma care level III designation. You will support a state-of-the-art surgical team performing cardiac, vascular, thoracic, transplant, and general surgeries. Parking is available at a flat rate, and scrub colors are provided.
