Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Sanitize and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and other areas as needed. - Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other tools as required.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and adhere to organizational cleanliness standards.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning after events or meetings as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements - Prior knowledge or experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends, if necessary.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
