Curriculum Coordinator For The Department Of The Air Force Fellows Program
The primary purpose of this position is to act as the Curriculum Coordinator of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Fellows program, an in-resident Professional Military Education (PME), Intermediate Development Education and Senior Development Education (IDE and SDE), by providing Headquarters Air University (HQ AU) and Air Education and Training Command (AETC) oversight and guidance responding to DoD, Air Staff, and MAJCOMs on matters regarding the DAF Fellows program. This position would also be responsible for the day-to day management of operational aspects of the DAF Fellows program, ensuring operations comply with all applicable directives governing fellowships and Professional Military Education operations and associated DoD, Air Force, and AETC guidance.
Duties:
- Assists the Director in the oversight and management of Department of Air Force Fellows assigned to academic, corporate, governmental, and research institutions nationwide.
- Provides professional leadership, advice, guidance, and authoritative consulting on education matters concerning all Department of the Air Force Fellows.
- Evaluates individual Fellow performance and serves as the primary academic advisor to DAF Fellows.
- Collects, curates, and maintains the DAF Fellows database.
- Executes funding, resources, and budget management.
