Role Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety protocols, and maintaining accurate patient records. This is a part-time, on-site role based in Portland, OR, requiring close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology techniques
- Strong knowledge and adherence to Radiation Safety practices
- Understanding of medical principles relevant to radiologic imaging
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in Radiography in the State of Oregon
- Previous experience in CT imaging is preferred
