Performs imaging procedures and treatments following radiology standards to support diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Executes other assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
• Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans aligned with hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Participates in performance improvement activities to uphold care standards.
• Achieves assigned goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the specialty area, meeting CT competencies.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiography; CT registration preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• State licensure as required; BLS certification within 14 days; ARRT(R) certification necessary.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy skills required.
