Role Overview:
Leads and supervises the computed tomography (CT) team, demonstrating advanced knowledge of job responsibilities, providing coaching, performance monitoring, and fostering teamwork. Assists in coordinating workflows, prioritizing tasks, and resolving complex issues. Oversees equipment quality control, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and mentor team members to ensure productivity and quality standards.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication within the team.
- Coordinate services, manage workflow, and support situational decision-making.
- Handle complex or novel technical issues and ensure equipment is maintained and functioning optimally.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered RT and certified in CT by ARRT; applicable state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
