Your Responsibilities Include
- Utilizing radiographic and CT technologies to secure premium-quality diagnostic images for physician evaluation
- Working collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate precise diagnoses
- Positioning patients accurately and tuning equipment for optimal imaging execution
- Observing radiation safety protocols for the protection of patients and staff
- Keeping current documentation, including imaging logs and apparatus maintenance records
- Delivering compassionate care throughout the scanning process
- Promoting a safe and organized imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography
- Current BLS certification or ability to acquire it within 90 days of employment
- Fluency in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues
- A comfort with fast-paced settings and adaptability to dynamic situations
- A meticulous approach and a strong sense of accountability
- Proficient use of PACS, RIS, and modern imaging software
