Our hospitals in the Denver area include:Good Samaritan Medical Center – LafayetteLutheran Medical Center – Wheat RidgePlatte Valley Medical Center – BrightonSaint Joseph Hospital – DenverScope:Perform CT procedures in order to obtain desired imaging results according to physicians specificationsBe responsible for appropriate operation of all CT Imaging and related equipmentAppropriately educate, position, immobilize and perform CT proceduresCoordinate CT examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient careUnderstand and follow provider Imaging orders correctlySubmit required images and related clinical information to the Radiologist for interpretationAppropriately evaluate image qualityProvide open, accurate, and responsive communication to patients, coworkers, Radiologists and leadershipAppropriately utilize, charge and maintain department suppliesQualifications:Must hold both Registered Rad Tech certifications, CT (Computed Tomography X-ray), requiredComputed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Two (2) years CT experience preferred in a hospital or ED settingCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart AssociationPhysical Requirements:The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
