This role requires expertise in CT procedures, strong knowledge of imaging systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical ImagingPerform CT scans and imaging proceduresEnsure high-quality diagnostic imagesSelect appropriate imaging parametersEquipment & TechnologyOperate CT imaging systems (Philips / Siemens preferred)Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipmentReport equipment malfunctionsPatient Care & SafetyPrepare and position patients for CT proceduresAdminister contrast (if certified)Ensure patient safety and comfortTeam CollaborationWork with radiologists and clinical teamsSupport workflow and patient coordinationMaintain professional communicationDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate patient recordsEnsure compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsFollow EMR documentation protocolsMust-Have QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of CT Technologist experienceARRT Certification (Required)New York State License (Required prior to start)Injection Therapy Certification (Required if already NY licensed)BLS Certification (AHA – Required)Experience in Level 1 Trauma CenterPreferred QualificationsInjection certification (preferred if not already obtained)Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipmentExperience in high-acuity hospital environmentsCore CompetenciesCT imaging expertisePatient care and safetyContrast administrationCommunication and teamworkAttention to detailWork EnvironmentRadiology / CT DepartmentLevel 1 Trauma CenterOnsite role in Rochester, NYAdditional RequirementsMust obtain NY State license before startMust complete injection certification if not already certifiedMust be flexible with call, holiday, and weekend coverage
