CT TechnologistHere at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at our Fairview Ambulatory Clinic in Blaine, MN! This is a casual position that will work as needed by the department. We are looking for someone who has availability to pick up shifts Monday through Friday from 7AM - 6PM.
No weekend availability.The Clinic CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).ResponsibilitiesMaintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomesPerforms excellent patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyUses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresEnsures patient data integrityRequired QualificationsCurrent Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)Preferred Qualifications1 year of experience in a related roleAdditional certifications in ImagingFairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
