CT Technologist – Radiology
Schedule: - Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Fri/Sat/Sun
Assignment Details:
- Typical caseload: ~25 cases/day
- Solo overnight expectation with CT assistant available for support
Requirements:
- Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), BLS
- License: Must have a valid Washington license
- Preferred: 2 years of CT experience; will accept 1 year if from a trauma or high-acuity center
Key clinical skills:
- Contrast administration and contrast-enhanced studies (head, chest, abdomen, pelvis)
- Vascular CTA, brain perfusion
- Biopsies/aspirations, peripheral IV starts
- Trauma/high-acuity imaging experience
- PACS workflow experience; experience with GE and Siemens systems
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols
- Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Collaborate with emergency department staff for patient care
- Maintain equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure safety standards
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Return-to-office/scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
