Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing radiographic and CT techniques to acquire precise diagnostic images for physician review
- Collaborating closely with radiologists and the interdisciplinary team to guarantee correct diagnoses
- Expertly positioning patients and calibrating equipment to achieve optimal imaging results
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols for the well-being of patients and staff alike
- Maintaining accurate records including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Providing patient care infused with empathy during the imaging process
- Contributing to a well-organized and safe imaging environment
- An Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Graduation from an accredited technical program in radiology
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is mandatory
- Current BLS certification or ability to achieve this within 90 days of hire
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety practices
- Effective communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary colleagues
- Aptitude for thriving in fast-paced environments and responding to changing circumstances
- Attention to detail combined with a strong sense of accountability
- Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
