Corporate Development Manager

Accenture, coined by Bloomberg as “World’s most acquisitive firm”, is seeking a highly qualified professional to join the North America Corporate Development (Corp Dev) team as a manager. The Corp Dev team is responsible for identifying, executing and integrating inorganic growth opportunities that advance the Firm's strategic objectives. This team directly works with Senior Leadership and is accountable for all elements of the deal lifecycle from origination through integration of an acquisition.The responsibilities of this position include deal structuring and coordinating due diligence, as well as negotiating efforts using expertise in the development of business cases, valuations, investment scenario modeling, and leading post merger integration. The PMI Manager leads the mobilization of all front and back-office teams, establishes the governance framework, and works with Senior Leadership to design the operating and integration models for of Accenture’s acquired firms.Responsibilities:Responsibilities of the Corp Dev Manager position include but are not limited to:Participate in merger and acquisition (M&A) pipeline developmentEvaluate and summarize M&A prospect information discovered through marketing materials, public filings, meetings & calls, and various other sourcesDevelop and oversee financial models to evaluate a target's financial projections and perform comprehensive financial valuations involving discounted cash flow, accretion dilution, and comparable company/transaction analysisCompile summary materials for internal management and Investment Committee approvalPerform industry and financial analysis leading to investment recommendationsDevelop a negotiation strategy and lead relevant negotiation effortsPresent to Senior LeadershipLead workshops across the deal lifecycle ensuring relevant objectives are achievedActively lead and manage various internal and external stakeholdersProgram Management including:Due Diligence efforts amongst internal and external partiesMeeting Coordination: development of agenda, minutes, and follow-up on actionsWorkplan management across all Workstreams (e.g., Go-to-Market, HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Tax, Workplace)Milestone tracking (delayed, at risk, on track)Document PMI progress, prepare Status Reports for PMI Status Meetings with Workstream leads and PMI Leadership Meetings with Sponsoring Accenture Organization and acquired CompanyParticipate in the development of Intellectual Property, including AI Agents, lessons learned, best practices, briefing decks, and templatesTravel Expectations: up to 35%Basic Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Operations or Finance at a large corporationBachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 3 years of experience leading a teamPreferred Qualifications:Exposure to M&A activityEvidence of excellence in previous employment positionsA good understanding of cross-functional corporate operations (e.g., Business Operations, Finance, HR)Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel SkillsStrong program management skillsProficiency with AI tools and creation of AI AgentsExcellent analytical, writing, and verbal skillsProfessional Skills:Ability to work on complex projects in a multicultural environmentAbility to establish strong relationships and trust with executivesIndependent problem-solving skillsProfessional maturity and personal integrityStrong work ethicProficiency in English both verbal and writtenDemonstrated leadership in a professional settingDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional settingInitiative to reinvent processes and tools using AICompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
