LHH is assisting a highly regarded AmLaw firm in its search for a Corporate, M&A & Securities Associate to join its sophisticated transactional practice. This is an opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team advising public and private companies, investors, founders, private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, and emerging growth companies on a broad range of complex business transactions.

This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Work on sophisticated M&A, private equity, venture capital, and securities matters for a diverse client base
  • Work on sophisticated M&A, private equity, venture capital, and securities matters for a diverse client base
  • Advise public companies, private companies, investors, founders, and emerging growth businesses throughout all stages of growth
  • Take an active role in deal execution and client counseling

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 2 years of corporate transactional experience at a highly regarded firm
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities law, corporate governance, and commercial transactions
  • Experience representing public companies, private companies, investors, founders, private equity and venture capital clients, and/or emerging growth companies
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, including acquisition agreements and related transaction documents
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for admission in the hiring jurisdiction
