Salary: $145,000-$150,000 + 5-10 bonus

Controller Responsibilities

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure timely financial reporting

Oversee general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

Lead manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, annual cost rolls, BOM reviews, labor rates, and overhead absorption

Analyze material, labor, overhead, purchase price, scrap, yield, and production variances

Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliations, E&O reserves, and inventory turnover

Manage AP and AR functions, including aging, collections, cash application, and working capital
-
Lead external audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting

Develop, mentor, and lead accounting personnel

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure planning, and long-range financial planning

Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production to improve margins, reduce costs, and drive business performance

Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership
Controller Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant manufacturing experience

5+ years of accounting and finance leadership experience

Strong manufacturing cost accounting and standard costing experience

Advanced understanding of inventory accounting, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls

Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and external audits

Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills

CPA preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills

Strategic, collaborative leader who can balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with broader business partnership
