Corporate Controller – Multi-Brand Restaurant Group

Location: Denver, CO (On-site / Flexible Schedule)

Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 Base + Target Bonus of 20%

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing, multi-brand restaurant organization generating approximately $100 million in annual revenue to identify a Corporate Controller.

The company is entering an exciting phase of growth, with plans to expand through both new restaurant openings and strategic acquisitions. As part of this growth, the organization is transitioning to a centralized, shared-services accounting model to support multiple restaurant brands.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of an accounting function, develop a team, and help build the financial infrastructure to support a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function across multiple restaurant brands, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee and develop an accounting team consisting of an Accounting Manager and two Staff Accountants.
• Help transition the organization to a centralized, shared-services accounting structure.
• Support new restaurant openings and acquisitions by integrating locations into existing accounting systems and processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.
• Partner closely with senior leadership to support the organization's long-term growth strategy.

Ideal Candidate

We are open to two different professional backgrounds:

Restaurant / Multi-Unit Accounting Experience

• Accounting leadership experience within a restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or multi-location environment.
• Familiarity with restaurant accounting systems, POS integrations, and financial reporting.
• Experience leading accounting teams and supporting business expansion.

Public Accounting Background

• Experience with a Big 4, national, or regional public accounting firm.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, financial reporting, and audit experience.
• A Senior Accountant or early-career Manager ready to transition into industry and grow into broader accounting leadership responsibilities.

Regardless of background, we're seeking someone who is hands-on, enjoys developing people, and is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment.

CPA preferred but not required. Direct M&A and treasury experience are not prerequisites.
