- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—planners, scientists, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions locally and globally.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to research and prepare technical memorandums, field reports, and report sections.
- Detail‑oriented with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to frequent travel to client locations across a large geographical area.
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Preferred
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or current registration for the F.E. exam.
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D, GIS Software, and/or Hydraflow/HydroCAD.
- Prior internship or professional experience in civil/environmental engineering.
- Willingness to travel for field work.
Key Responsibilities
- Work remotely/hybrid while maintaining clear communication on schedules, deliverables, and tasks.
- Assist in civil/environmental design and support for projects including:
- Site plans
- Erosion and sediment control plans
- Stormwater management plans
- Permit application preparation
- Participate in field work, sampling, construction monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage multiple fast‑paced projects across diverse geographies.
- Ensure compliance with ERM’s world‑class Health and Safety Program.
For the Consulting Associate, Engineer position, the anticipated annual base pay is $72,179–$88,775 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
