What You'll Do:
  • Lead the commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting of compressor systems
  • Conduct system testing to ensure optimal operation and compliance with specifications
  • Collaborate with engineering and field teams to resolve commissioning issues
  • Document procedures, results, and recommendations for system improvements
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout all commissioning activities
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience with compressor systems commissioning and start-up procedures
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems associated with compressors
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on-site
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with automation and control systems (DCS, PLC)
  • Experience with rotating equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of safety standards and certifications related to industrial equipment
  • Prior experience working in remote or field environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant commissioning experience in the energy or industrial sector
Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work a 10-hour schedule on a Thursday hitch, with overtime as needed
  • Rotational work schedule and potential travel to project sites
  • Valid certifications related to electrical or mechanical work are a plus
