The Community Outreach Coordinator builds and maintains relationships between the organization and the community. This role involves coordinating outreach programs, promoting the organization's services, and increasing community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implementcommunity outreach strategies.
- Build relationships withlocal organizations, businesses, and stakeholders.
- Organize community events,workshops, and presentations.
- Act as a liaison between theorganization and the community.
- Identify and addresscommunity needs in alignment with the organization's mission.
- Promote the organization'sprograms and services through various channels.
- Monitor and evaluate theeffectiveness of outreach initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree incommunications, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years ofexperience in community outreach or engagement.
- Strong communication andnetworking skills.
- Ability to work with diversepopulations and build relationships.
- Proficiency in eventplanning and social media tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
