Job Details
A leading national law firm is seeking a talented litigation associate to join its growing Wilmington office and thriving commercial litigation practice.
The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a high-caliber team handling sophisticated commercial disputes in Delaware's most prominent courts. Associates work on substantive matters, develop meaningful client relationships, and are given real responsibility early in their tenure.
What You'll Do
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution
- Appear in and practice before the Court of Chancery of Delaware and the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Delaware
- Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare briefs
- Support and collaborate on discovery strategy, depositions, and trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients on case strategy and status
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting
- Demonstrated experience practicing in the Delaware Court of Chancery and/or Delaware Superior Court's Complex Commercial Litigation Division
- Superior legal writing and research skills
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Must be admitted to practice in Delaware
