Coil Winder (Machine Operator) 1st ShiftEaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Coil Winder (Machine Operator) 1st Shift.The hours for this role are 5:00am - 1:30pmThe hourly rate for this position is $29.80 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:This position will be responsible for winding coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components, according to wiring diagrams, sample coils, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools.
Reviews wiring diagrams and work order or examines sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound. In this function you will:Wind standard coils for dry type transformersUtilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demandsInspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standardsAdhere to company regulations, including adherence to policies regarding safety, attendance and punctualityInterpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprintsKeep all work areas clean, organized and presentableComply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulationsQualifications:Required (Basics):Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futureNo relocation benefit is offered for this position.

Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution6 or more months using soldering/brazing/welding experience OR a completed welding certificate from an accredited institution or high school trades coursePreferred:Forklift operator certification (can be trained on-site)3 or more years of experience in related field preferredPrevious Machine Operation experienceSkills:• Ability to lift 40 pounds• Repetitive use of mallet to shape coils is required.• Ability to weld and braze• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment as required• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.• Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.• Pushing & Pulling is required during the manufacturing process
