CNC OperatorJoin a clean, climate-controlled machining environment as a CNC Operator on either 1st, 2nd, and weekend shift where you will operate a variety of CNC mills and lathes, perform minor program edits, and ensure high-quality parts for automotive, military, and medical applications.ResponsibilitiesOperate a variety of CNC mills and lathes, including Mori Seki mills, Kitamura mills, and Robodrills equipped with Fanuc controllers.Run production jobs for companies such as Space XPerform basic G and M code edits at the machine to adjust feeds, speeds, and tool paths as needed.Perform tool changes and monitor tool wear to maintain part quality and machine efficiency.Troubleshoot issues on CNC machines, including alarms, dimensional discrepancies, and surface finish concerns.Work from blueprints and setup sheets to correctly load parts, set up workholding, and verify proper program selection.Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, CMMs, gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances.Support secondary operations performed in the CNC department on production parts as needed.Essential Skills6 months to 3 years of CNC operating experience or completion of a trade school program in machining or a related field.Hands-on experience operating CNC mills or CNC lathes in a production environment.Prior production operating experience in a machining or manufacturing setting.Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMMs, and other precision measurement tools.Experience machining from various blueprints and setup sheets.Strong shop math skills for measurements, offsets, and dimensional calculations.Additional Skills & QualificationsTrade school degree or formal training in CNC machining or a related discipline.Experience working with Haas mills and turning centers in a production environment.Comfort working with multiple machine types, including mills, lathes, and Robo-Drills.Why Work Here?You will join a stable, employee-focused organization that offers meaningful long-term rewards and a supportive culture.
