CNC Set Up OperatorWe are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Operator to join our vertical milling department. As a CNC Set Up Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines, including Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers and Bridgeport Mills.Responsibilities:Set up and operate 14 Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers with table sizes up to 60 inches.Operate and manage 3 Bridgeport Mills.Utilize virtual machining capabilities for programming from customer electronic files.Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.Ensure precision and quality in machining processes.Essential Skills:3-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Degree in Machine Tool or CNC operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with precision machining services in various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and composites.Why Work Here?Join a smaller, family-owned company that offers a laid-back machine shop environment.
