CNC MachinistAs a CNC Machinist at MKS, you will partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. In this role, you will report to the Senior Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations. This posting is for a conversion opportunity for a pre-identified temporary employee currently working at MKS.You Will Make an Impact By:Operating CNC machines to manufacture precision parts per technical drawings and work instructionsSetting up machines, loading raw materials, and monitoring operations for abnormalitiesInspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specificationsMaintaining accurate documentation, including inspection results, part records, and production logsIdentifying and reporting defective materials, process issues, or equipment concernsPerforming routine machine maintenance, including replenishing lubricants and coolantsCollaborating with team members to meet production goals and resolve technical challengesSkills You Bring:Experience with multi-axis CNC machinesFamiliarity with CAD/CAM softwareExperience working with conversational CNC machinesBackground in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing methodologiesIn depth knowledge of G Code programmingAble to train and/or mentor othersPreferred Skills:2+ years of related experienceMachine shop experience, ability to utilize complicated drawings and specifications, advanced mathematics, a variety of precision measuring instruments and trade knowledge equivalent to training in a formal apprenticeship programProficiency in operating CNC machines and interpreting blueprints/technical drawingsStrong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and feed/speed parametersExperience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards in a manufacturing environmentPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 30 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for 60% of the timeRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder levelMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understandDedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatCompensation and Benefits:Hourly Pay Range: $18.89 - 31.49 USD Hourly.

This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
