Valley Vista Nursing & Transitional Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated CNA to join our night shift. If you take pride in helping others and providing attentive resident care, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
* Provide timely incontinence care and keep residents clean, dry, and comfortable.
* Assist with repositioning, transfers, and mobility according to resident care plans and safety procedures.
* Obtain and record vital signs, intake and output, and other assigned information.
* Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to the licensed nurse.
* Answer call lights promptly and respond respectfully to resident needs.
* Complete accurate, timely documentation of care provided.
* Follow infection prevention procedures, hand hygiene, and PPE requirements.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe resident environment.
* Communicate with the nursing team and provide relevant information during shift handoff.
* Protect residents’ rights, privacy, dignity, and independence.
Required Qualifications
* Active California CNA certification in good standing.
* Current BLS/CPR certification.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.
* Dependable attendance and punctuality.
* Ability to perform essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Availability to work full-time, 11:00 PM 7:00 AM, on a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 2 days off, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
* Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and electronic ADL documentation.
