Clinical Resource Manager (Contract – 12 Weeks)

Location: Miami, FL

Job Type: Contract (12 Weeks)

Pay Rate: $39.00 - $46.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift

A leading hospital in the Miami area is seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Manager for a 12-week contract assignment. This position is ideal for a healthcare professional with strong clinical operations, resource management, and interdisciplinary coordination experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient utilization of hospital resources.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical resources to ensure appropriate patient care and efficient hospital operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary departments to optimize patient flow.
  • Assess patient needs and assist with appropriate level of care and resource utilization.
  • Monitor patient progression and identify barriers to timely treatment and discharge.
  • Support care coordination initiatives while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide recommendations for efficient resource allocation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Assist with utilization management and clinical documentation as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and leadership.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience.
  • Previous experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, Care Coordination, or Clinical Resource Management preferred.
  • Knowledge of InterQual or MCG criteria is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient care coordination, and discharge planning.
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Case Management Certification (CCM, ACM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience working in large acute care hospitals.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
