Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) - (Contract/1099/Independent Contractor)
Background
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our team in providing military veterans with thorough mental health compensation and pension exams for service connected issues and claims. The hours are 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Job Description
Mental health issues addressed during the exams may include depression, military sexual trauma, PTSD, sleeping disorders, eating disorders and anxiety. This is an assessment only position.
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Locums Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with The Locums Company, LLC. The Locums provider will work a hybrid schedule and provide mental assessment for veterans. Focus is on mental health assessment as it relates to future medical needs. TLC offers excellent contract compensation, and professional liability insurance.
Requirements
- Must have a Psychologist license (PhD/PsyD)
- Must have a doctorate degree in Psychology from an APA accredited institution
- Must be willing to work 8:00 am - 4:00 pm 3 days in clinic and 2 days remote
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
