Clinical InformaticistThe Clinical Informaticist will bridge the gap between clinical and technical teams by interpreting clinical guidelines from CMS and Health Plans, and transforming them into models for automation. This role requires close collaboration with clinicians and engineers to ensure that automated models are accurate, clinically sound, and technically feasible.Key Responsibilities:Interpret clinical guidelines and policies from CMS and Health PlansBuild and validate clinical automation models based on policy requirementsCollaborate with clinicians (MDs, Nurses) to ensure clinical accuracyAct as liaison between clinical, business, and technical teamsSupport engineering teams through the development and QA lifecycleAnalyze clinical data and develop data mapping and transformation rulesDevelop use cases, user stories, and support resolution of production issuesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree3+ years of experience in Healthcare ITStrong clinical understanding and experienceFamiliarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD, etc.)Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar liaison roleStrong communication and analytical skillsProficient in Excel, Visio; able to explain and understand technical solutionsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Clinical InformaticsFamiliarity with CMS, MCG, InterQual guidelinesExperience with EMRs and querying using SQLExperience analyzing large clinical datasetsEmpowering the Future of HealthcareThe healthcare industry is on the brink of a paradigm shift where patients are increasingly being viewed as empowered consumers, utilizing digital technologies to better understand and manage their own health.
