The Clerical Assistant assists with general operations of the homecare office, as assigned by the Office Manager.Qualifications:High school diploma.Additional business and computer courses desirable.Experience in computer data entry, accounting, related field, or general office work desirablePosition Highlights: According to HomeCare policies and procedures and under the direction of the Office Manager:Operates telephone/switchboard as assignedMakes photocopies and FAXes information as indicatedProcesses incoming/outgoing mail and messagesMaintains Call BookAssists in taking Job ApplicationsDelivers orders, etc. to physician's offices as requestedPrepares assessment packetsProcesses and tracks physician ordersMaintains inventory of office supplies/formsAssists with billing activities as neededMaintains inventory control of medical suppliesPerforms miscellaneous typing, data entry, filing, copyingMaintains medical recordsCompletes data entry of patient/other informationWhy NHC?
