Claims AnalystThe Claims Analyst partners with internal colleagues, external customers, vendors, and other parties to address and resolve account reconciliation issuesResponsibilities:Establish and maintain positive business relationships both internally and externally to promote company goalsResearch claims to determine appropriate action for claim resolution based on warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc.Research chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolutionAssist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of ordersProcess all claims with attention given to each request in a timely mannerServe as a liaison for dealers and sales force for determining a resolution and following up on pending claimsWork with Quality Control on defect resolutionSchedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier, or warehousesCorrespond with carrier and dealers regarding damaged or lost freight claimsQualifications:3-5 years of carpet claims experience preferredKnowledge of the carpet manufacturing process preferredHigh school diploma or GED equivalencyKnowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to claim resolutionProficient and accuracy with computers, AS400 system, Word, and ExcelDetail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and time management skillsAbility to work under minimal supervisionStrong verbal and written communication skills
