Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of projects (renewable energy sites, food processing facilities, academic campuses, municipal infrastructure)
- Lead project teams
- Work directly with clients
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Assist with business development
- Provide/lead Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) reviews for civil projects
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 8+ years of progressive technical design experience with site development projects
- 5+ years of project management experience
- 2+ years of business development experience
- Experience working on site layouts, site grading, roadway design, utility design, vehicular and/or pedestrian access, stormwater management, and site permitting
- PELicense in the State of Minnesota or Illinois
- Experienceworking with regulatory agencies
- Knowledgeof the permit application process with FEMA, DOT, DNR, and state / localgovernment entities
- Experienceworking with AutoCAD Civil 3D used to develop site designs
- Mayrequire limited overnight travel
- Activeprofessional registration or ability to obtain in additional states with apreference of Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Iowa stronglyencouraged
- Priormanagement/site design experience for private commercial/industrialdevelopers and/or renewable energy (solar/wind) infrastructures andfacilities preferred
