Cisco Network EngineerProvide first level support in the IT communications group. Support/maintenance/service desk requests. Monitor and support the performance of all network infrastructure. Utilize Solarwinds ORION to research & diagnose problems. Provide front-line interaction with the PTC User Community. Support Adds/Moves/Changes. VOIP Phone system. Network connectivity. Provide post implementation break/fix support. General. Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and problem resolution. Follow PTC Change Management processes and procedures. Create and maintain requirements, documentation, and procedures. Develop and maintain configuration documentation. Communicate both verbally and in writing with managers, other network support staff and with PTC business unit users. Perform capability/knowledge transfer to PTC staff. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Other network projects as assigned. Participate as needed on IT communications projects.Required Skills: Cisco Route/Switch: Design; Configuration; and Troubleshooting. 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. CCNA route/switch & CCNA voice or equivalent technical knowledge. Cisco Unified Communications: Call Manager (latest version); Unity; Presence; Voice Gateways; Phones; ATAs. Network monitoring/management systems.
