Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Chiller Technical Team Lead in the Denver Metro, CO area to guide a chiller service team and resolve the most complex central plant problems.
Impact:
- Raise first-time fix rates by coaching technicians on chiller diagnostics.
- Protect customer plants through planned overhauls and reliable repairs.
- Reduce callbacks with consistent standards and quality checks.
- Develop the next generation of chiller technicians in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of chiller technicians on service, repair, and overhaul work.
- Diagnose centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chiller failures.
- Perform and oversee teardown, inspection, and rebuild of major components.
- Review service reports and recommend repairs to account managers.
- Support startup, refrigerant management, and controls troubleshooting.
- Train technicians on tools, procedures, and safety practices.
- Coordinate parts, rigging, and subcontractor support for major work.
- Enforce safety standards including lockout/tagout and confined space rules.
