Chief Anesthesiologist

Village Surgical Center of Erie, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center, is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join its collegial team. • Case assignments include cataracts, endoscopies, podiatry, pediatric dental, and more

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

• Salary: $452,000 annually
• Chief Stipend: $30,000
• Sign-on Incentive: $30,000

Shift & Schedule

• Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-4:00 PM
• No call
• Staff stays until the last patient leaves

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• BE or BC
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
