Job Description
Dates of Work: Start as soon as possible and continue ongoing

Work Setting: Hospital
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Documentation System: Epic
Supervision Model: ACT Care-Team model; anesthesiologists will be with you at important times during the procedures
Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 60 surgeries in total
Trauma Center Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
Operating Room Team: Friendly and cooperative team
Number of Operating Rooms: 25 rooms
Experience Required: Must have Level 1 trauma experience; no new graduates allowed
Patient Age Groups: Mostly adults and older patients, some pediatric cases
Required Procedures
- General surgeries (for adults and some children)
- MRI, endoscopy, IR (interventional radiology), EP lab
- IV regional anesthesia (numbing a specific area)
- Spinal anesthesia (numbing from the waist down)
- Neurosurgery (brain surgery)
- Managing breathing (ventilation)
- Placing arterial and central lines
Qualifications
- Must be a Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Must have an active Michigan license - REQUIRED
- Clean background - REQUIRED
- Must have ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) & BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA - REQUIRED
- Must have PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - REQUIRED
- Must have at least 1 year of Level 1 trauma experience, clearly mentioned in your resume
Additional License Requirements
BLS and ACLS certifications are needed.
