Nursing Assistant – Nursing
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
- At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment: Required
- EPIC experience: Required
Responsibilities:
- Provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).
- Assists with activities of daily living, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, and positioning.
- Takes vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
- Helps patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Performs various clerical duties, including routing patient reports as appropriate.
- Reports patient status and concerns to the RN.
- Provides assessment data to certified nurse within the scope of practice.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
