Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Alpharetta, GA Employment Type: Part-Time (25–35 hours/week)
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, personalized care to an adult patient in Alpharetta, GA. This role focuses on supporting a patient undergoing cancer treatment with a history of stroke, requiring attentive and skilled care. You'll work 25–35 hours per week as part of a close-knit, professional care team dedicated to improving the patient's comfort and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Provide specialized support to a patient undergoing cancer treatment and recovering from stroke
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers to prevent pressure injuries
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to supervising nurse
- Follow individualized care plans to support physical and emotional well-being
- Offer companionship and emotional support in a respectful, dignified manner
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive care environment
What We're Looking For
- Active Georgia CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience, including direct care for cancer patients and/or stroke recovery support
- Understanding of stroke-related mobility and communication challenges
- Patient, empathetic, and skilled in providing comfort-oriented care
- Reliable transportation to and from the Alpharetta location
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
