Job Description

• Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions or patient issues.
• Prioritizes clinical and administrative work independently and identify process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Assists physicians in performing specialized cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status, responding appropriately to ensure optimal outcomes.

Work Experience

• 1+ years of cardiac catheterization lab experience (Preferred)
• Special procedures experience, (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (Required) OR
• Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) (Required) OR
• Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (R.T(CI)(ARRT)) (Required)
• Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) (Preferred)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (Preferred)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) (Preferred)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
