TempExperts is partnering with an established company in Miami to hire a Catalog Analyst to research diesel engine parts, source and compare vendor pricing, and keep parts data accurate and organized. Your research will directly drive smarter purchasing decisions and real cost savings.

What you’ll be doing

• Researching diesel engine parts, part numbers, specifications and cross-references
• Finding and vetting vendors and suppliers for diesel parts and components
• Contacting vendors for pricing, availability, lead times and specs
• Comparing vendor pricing and analyzing cost differences
• Collecting, validating and maintaining large volumes of parts and pricing data
• Working with parts catalogs, databases and technical resources to confirm accurate product information
• Spotting pricing trends, discrepancies, alternative parts and cost-saving opportunities
• Building and maintaining Excel pricing comparisons, reports and tracking tools
• Using Copilot or other AI tools to support research and data organization
• Keeping accurate records of vendor communications, pricing updates and findings

What you bring

• Experience in data analysis, parts research, purchasing, procurement, inventory analysis or a related field
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, filtering and data comparison
• Experience with parts catalogs, technical databases, product listings or large datasets (preferred)
• The ability to research technical information and cross-reference part numbers accurately
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Confidence communicating with vendors by phone and email
• Comfort working independently at a computer for most of the day
• Knowledge of diesel engine parts, heavy-duty truck components or industrial equipment (a plus)
• Experience with electronic parts catalogs or aftermarket parts databases (a plus)
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Power Query, AI research tools or data automation (a plus)
