The Carpenter will be responsible for building, assembling, modifying, and finishing structural and custom components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Construct, assemble, install, and repair wood and composite structures and components according to specifications and drawings.
- Measure, cut, shape, and install materials using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production instructions.
- Build and modify interior and exterior components with attention to detail and workmanship.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy are met.
- Perform fitting, framing, finishing, and general carpentry tasks.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet project timelines and customer expectations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe operating condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other production and assembly duties as needed.
- Previous carpentry experience required; manufacturing or industrial carpentry experience preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Skilled in operating hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Comfortable working in a production or industrial environment.
- Experience building custom structures, modular components, or industrial assemblies.
- Knowledge of construction methods, framing, and finishing techniques.
- Experience working in manufacturing or fabrication environments is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work with hands throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and active production environments.
